Starting this site, I wasn't sure on how to split up the list of small dog breeds in different categories. Splitting it up in the AKC groups seems a bit pointless for people living in the city. So I decided to go with size and weight. Makes it a lot more practical to choose the right dog breed if you live in an apartment building without any elevators. Hauling 17kg of dog up and down 3 flights of stairs because it has a long spine and shouldn't do any stairs gets old pretty quickly...been there, done that...
